Meet our team of coaches

Anthony Daly is one of the Greatest Hurlers and natural leaders the game has ever seen, his honours include 5 Clare Championships and a Munster Title for his native Clarecastle. Daly was a lynchpin in the Clare Team and captained them to 2 All Ireland titles in 95 and 97 and 3 Munster Titles in 95, 97 and 98. He received 3 All Stars for his outstanding performances for the banner in 1994, 1995 and 1998. Daly has carried his leadership skills into management and led Dublin to the Bob O Keffe Leinster Championship in 2013. We are delighted to have such a talented individual on our books.

Iarla Tannian the Galway native has been an outstanding player for both club and county. The instantly recognisable Tannian stands at 6 foot 3 and won the Leinster Championship in 2012 and was named man of the match in the All Ireland Final that same year. His towering displays earned him a GPA All Star. Tannian still has plenty to offer Galway and his club team Ardrahan and going forward will be seen as the lynchpin of Galways Tirades at winning an elusive All Ireland.

After having a stellar playing career with massive success with Derry and his home town club Bellaghy, Joe Cassidy has really flourished as a coach. He has proved a masterclass in coaching the big ball leading Greenlough to the County title but he has also shown to be a dab hand at coaching hurling, taking Cross and Passion College to All Ireland Success on three occasions

Sean Marty Lockhart was one of the country's top defenders for years and was recognised as such by recieving an All Star in 1998. He has won Ulster and National League medals with Derry. As a PE teacher in St Pats Maghera he led them to MacRory and Hogan cup success. He is Irelands most capped player in the International series against Australia, and has also coached his Country in beating the Ozzies.

Where do we start with Richieā€¦. One of the most successful hurlers of all time, Richie Power is without doubt one of the Kilkenny greats. Richie won an unprecedented 8 All Irelands in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015 , 3 All Ireland Minor Championships, 2 Under21 All Irelands. Richie was presented with All Stars in 2008 and 2012. The inspirational Power has sadly had to call time early on his Inter County Career due to a knee injury and we have no doubt he would have been even more successful with the Cats.
